UNIDAD of Miami Beach and Standard Parking Annual “Toy Day” Colossal Success, Over 700 Kids Get Toys (click headline to see smiles)

On January 17, 2007, Commissioner Matti Bower and the City of Miami Beach Commission presented Frank Pintado and David Hoyt of Standard Parking Corporation with a Certificate of Appreciation for their efforts in the annual UNIDAD of Miami Beach & Standard Parking Annual Toy Day. Created eight years by Frank Pintado and the Miami Beach Hispanic Community Center, the Holiday Toy Giveaway was designed to target underprivileged children and members of the elderly population in Miami Beach who had little to be joyous about during the holiday season. Since 1999 when Standard Parking became involved as a lead sponsor, the Annual Toy Day has expanded to giveaway events spanning over a week, which this year included almost 700 of our children and 300 of our elderly. Mr. Frank Pintado is living proof that you can be very successful in the business world, a leader in our community and at the same time be a great human being that is always there for those that need the most.
