many new residents concerned about a recent shooting on Crespi Blvd. Area residents with fears of a gang war in North Beach came to hear what was being done in the area. In a cooperative effort to address the community, members of the MBPD, including Chiefs Navarro and Martinez, newly appointed North End Captain Paul Acosta, members of the Gang Task Force, Detectives, Neighborhood Resources Officers and North End Public Service Specialists (PSS) also attended the meeting to assure residents that our Police Department is doing what it takes to put an end to a major problem before it begins.... more Posted 6/04/2007 10:30 Am
